Carolyn Izzo-Feldman

Founder & CEO

Carolyn’s more than 30 years of public relations and marketing experience forms the foundation of CIIC’s renowned and distinctive offering of services. Her intelligent, creative and energetic personality has made Carolyn a valued counsel to top executives at multi-national hotel brands, fine dining and restaurant chains, real estate developments and government tourism boards around the world. Carolyn has piloted CIIC in numerous award-winning campaigns on behalf of the company’s diverse clientele. Prior to founding CIIC, Carolyn worked for several large public relations firms from which she gleaned experiences that honed her dedication to offer clients principal-led and personalized service. Today, CIIC is the culmination of Carolyn’s vision, setting a new standard for lifestyle public relations.

Carolyn is a Board Member of the Boutique Lifestyle Leaders Association (BLLA), a Public Relations Chair for the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), and is on the North East Chapter Committee for the International Luxury Hotel Association (ILHA).

Amy Sedeño

Vice President & Partner

Amy is a pro in the hospitality and tourism industry, with more than 10 years of agency experience, complete with a strong journalism background. Amy leads the agency’s travel & tourism and hospitality divisions and oversees client relations, account management, agency best practices, employee growth and development and new business. Her destination experience is vast and includes working with leading destinations such as Baja California Sur, Los Cabos, Barbados, Quintana Roo, Dominican Republic, Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, Taxco, Los Cabos, Chile, and Guatemala.

In addition, Amy has an extensive roster of hotel brands – big and small– under her belt, including Marriott International, Hilton Hotels, Grand Lucayan, Solmar Hotel Group, Palladium Hotel Group, Hotel El Ganzo, Cala Luna Hotel, Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara (Mexico and Jamaica), The Atlantic Hotel, Caribe Hilton, and Hilton Puerto Vallarta, to name a few. Amy has spearheaded campaigns for high-profile Real Estate clients, including Rancho San Lucas and Vivo Resorts & Residences. Within the Food and Beverage sectors, she has executed campaigns for ProChile, including the multi-city Chilean Wine Tour and the US introduction of the Flavors of Chile campaign to the US market. She’s also led PR efforts for Bordeaux-based brand, Barton & Guestier launching its 2018 Vinolok® glass closure Provence rosé. Amy, a certified sommelier, is an educator for the Florida Wine Academy and holds the WSET 3, FWS and SWS certifications.

Amy spearheaded the launch of CIIC’s Miami headquarters in 2015, to further expand our agency footprint in Florida, the Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America. She has served as the company spokesperson for industry conferences and events and has been published by notable tourism and public relations trade outlets in the U.S. and internationally.

MeLANIE NEFF

Account Director

Melanie is a bi-lingual seasoned public relations, social media and digital marketing professional and has worked with numerous luxury brands in the tourism sector in the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America. Her media and influencer contacts run deep which has earned her the reputation as the agency’s top media relations specialist.

Melanie’s amount experience includes working with Hilton Puerto Vallarta, Barbados Tourism Marketing, Quintana Roo Tourism Board, Palladium Hotel Group, Grupo Hotelero Santa Fé, Rancho San Lucas, Resort, The Greg Norman Estates, Vivo Resorts, Cala Luna Resort, The Savoy Miami, Hotel El Ganzo, Surfside, FL and The Atlantic Hotel & Resort, among others.

In addition to her extensive experience in the tourism industry, Melanie has represented food & beverage brands, including Barton & Guestier Wines, Sovány Beverages, Florida Wine Academy, 305 Wines, Jovē Wellness, among others.
