The Stock Illustration Source (SIS) is the world's largest stock illustration agency. Because there is intense and ongoing controversy among illustrators regarding stock, one of our challenges in working with SIS has been to countermand the controversy by showing stock in its most positive light. To this purpose, we developed a quarterly newsletter that features interviews with highly successful stock illustrators as well as with SIS clients who can confirm the importance of stock applications within their organizations. We have also developed media pitch letters presenting SIS' president MC Matter as one of the art world's most prominent authorities. Our offer to have her author intriguing articles describing the evolution of illustration generally and the part that stock illustration plays within that context was met with great results.
