Helen Hayes Theatre Company (HHTC) is a comprehensive 588-seat
theater featuring plays, musicals, concerts, comedies, and children's
performances.
Founded
in 1996 and located in the historic Hudson River village of Nyack,
this vital regional theater has hosted Elaine Stritch, Jackie Mason,
Marvin Hamlisch, Andrea McArdle, Blake Edwards, Julie Harris, Sandy
Duncan and others. It has produced over 15 new works, including Honk!,
the American premiere of London's 2000 Olivier Award-winning best
musical, the world premiere of Eleanor and the regional premiere
of Scent of the Roses. HHTC brought CIIC on board in 2001 to ensure
successful promotion of its programs. CIIC ensures local press coverage
for the theater's events and develops strategic public relations
plans for the center's capital campaign. We also assist in its goal
to gain national recognition. CIIC's relationship with top arts and
entertainment editors in print and broadcast media has enabled HHTC
to secure features and theatrical reviews which, in turn, have played
a key role in increasing ticket sales and introducing new audiences
to the center.
