CIIC Hosts Los Cabos Eco Adventure Weekend Press Trip
LOS CABOS, Mexico | March 21 – March 24 CIIC recently hosted an Eco Adventure press trip on behalf of the Los Cabos Tourism Board. Account Coordinator, Paola Cuevas escorted the group during the trip as they enjoyed the newly opened Hotel El Ganzo in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, as well as local sights, accommodations, activities and culinary offerings around the destination.
Hotel El Ganzo is a 72-room independent boutique hotel and artistic heaven, with luxury amenities, a recording studio and locally inspired creative cuisine situated on the marina. The hotel already has had celebrity guests such as Sara Bareilles, Joshua Radin and Jerry Hannon – and will certainly be a hot-spot for trendsetting travelers.
After touring Hotel El Ganzo, the statue garden and the Wirikuta garden, the group ended at the beach club for sunset drinks and Mexican appetizers.
Whale Watching season is December through March in Los Cabos and the group had the chance to experience mother nature’s amazing show. Here is the group ready to leave for their action-packed whale watching adventure with Cabo Expeditions.
And what’s a trip to Cabo with out the famous El Arco? The group snapped this shot by the must-see rock formation while whale watching.
The group was lucky enough to get spectacular shots of a humpback whale and her calf swimming nearby while on their Cabo Expeditions tour!
The group also got the chance to visit Casa Dorada Resort and Spa. After touring the property’s suites, kids club, spa, pool area restaurants and turtle conservation area, the group dined at the property’s 12 Tribes Restaurant for lunch where they were greeted by Mariachi.
One of the highlights of the trip was to attend the opening of the Rock & Brews Cabo restaurant which held a surprise concert by the rock band KISS!
Eduardo Segura, Director of FITURCA and Pablo Sanchez Navarro, owner of El Ganzo met with the press for a media breakfast. They talked about the latest updates on the destination, flight connectivity, upcoming events, new hotels and developments and answered the journalists questions. The journalists made questions about golf courses, activities in Los Cabos, celebrities and family activities at the destination.
The group took an exciting Camel Safari ride with a Cabo Adventures Tour on a private beach after a short trip in an off road Unimog truck through the Baja outback.
And like all good things, the trip had to come to an end. Esperanza, An Auberge Resort hosted a farewell dinner for the group at the oceanfront restaurant, Cocina Del Mar.
