Cabo Meets New York City


In anticipation of Rancho San Lucas, the Solmar Group’s latest development opening this December, CIIC planned a media tour from June 14 through June 16 in New York City bringing Cabo to top lifestyle U.S. media including Travel + Leisure, Endless Vacation, Architectural Digest, Redbook, Martha Stewart Living, Condé Nast Traveler and more.

The tour consisted of desk-side appointments and an intimate curated media dinner at NYC’s Mexican gourmet staple, Cosme by Enrique Olvera. The media tour is part of a list of efforts taken by the agency leading up to Rancho San Lucas’ December opening.

CIIC incentivized attendees’ social media activity throughout the dinner with a live social media contest hosted by Solmar and Rancho San Lucas. The contest awarded the winner with a 5 day/4 night all inclusive trip for two to the coveted Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas. The contest yielded coverage on Instagram and Twitter for a total of 36 million impressions with the #RanchoSanLucas hashtag.
